works w commuter otter box

the dock has several adapter plates & when all are removed will hold the resound in the commuter otterbox .

Quality car dock

Pros: Just like all other car docks Ive owned
Cons: Tricky to dock phone, hinge is loose but stays put

This is a quality car dock and works as it should. Holds my phone in the car and allows me to easily use navigation and other features. Docking the phone can sometimes be difficult with this dock, you have to be very precise when lining the charging ports up. Additionally the hinge between the mount and the dock does not tighten down to a point where it doesnt move. The weight of the phone does not cause the dock to move but when putting the phone in the dock or removing it, the dock will move. Im not sure if this is a defect or the way it is supposed to be. My previous docks had not done this. As I mentioned, it does not move from the weight of the phone alone so it does not cause any problems once the phone is docked. The multiple attachments that come with it are nice as well for users who have extended batteries or cases on there phone. I can not specifically speak to how well these work as I am using the phone as it comes from the manufacturer, no case, no extended battery.

Otterbox defender

This will not work with the Otterbox Defender case. Commuter case seems to work as reviewed by others. :( Bummer was so close

Doesnt charge

Pros: Fits great, Feels sturdy enough, slick looking
Cons: Doesnt actually charge my phone

I am using the Motorola car charger I bought for my Droid Bionic with this dock, and for reasons unknown it will not charge my Rezound. The blue light illuminates on the dock, and the battery icon on the phone shows the charge symbol but it never actually charges. By the time Im an hour into my commute (using Navigation & Play Music apps), the battery is fully discharged and shuts down. Its terrible.

Wont charge

If it wont charge the device, it doesnt work for me. If you go on a trip longer than an hour with the navigation running your battery will be dead. Yes, I had it plugged in but all that does is light up the blue LED.
