Product Description

The Monaco Aluminum Hard Case is beautifully designed and finished to meet the exact specifications of your HTC handheld.

It is made of aircraft grade aluminum with a tough anodized finish and completely lined with soft, protective neoprene. Your HTC sits safely inside the lightweight and rigid protective outer cover, held by the secure hinged attachment system on the side of the case.

Cut-outs give you easy access to all your handheld's ports and controls. There's also a crystal clear hard cover over the screen to protect from scratches, nicks and fingerprints. A 360 degree removable belt clip is also included.

Pros:  Strong, definitely protects the phone!
Cons:  Reduces signal, case scratches easily

Admittedly, this case has saved my phone from utter disaster a few times, even cushioning several falls from waist-height (Im 510") to a concrete sidewalk!

On the downside, at least two of those falls were due to:

1) The snap closure on the side catches and opens fairly easily once that happens the phone slips out!

2) The screw-on belt attachment on the back loosens over time. Make sure you tighten it often, or drip some Krazy-glue into the hole.

Some other cons: the aluminum case significantly reduces your signal strength. As well, the black anodized paint scratches very easily, as does the transparent plastic screen in front. Once its past a certian point, you cant see much through it any more.

Im glad that I didnt spend too much for this case! Overall, I dont really recommend it.
