Upgrade to Seidio windshield mount

Pros: Easy to install
Cons: None

Works, just as advertised. I had the Sprint windshield mount but it would not fit the larger battery. This mount fits the larger battery and is easier to mount on my windshield.

Pros: window cling, sturdiness, charger set up
Cons: when in cradle charging phone is angled downward.. a little inconvientent to see.

I have had 3 previous mounting kits and this is by far the best our there. It is sturdy on my window, and charges at the same time. When I go over a bump it does not wiggle and the cord does not fall out. Thank You for a GREAT product.

Overall this is a great car kit that is serving me well. Very solid and holds the phone in place.

The only complaints I have is: 1) How big the base is, 2) because of the construction, if you are not careful pulling your phone out, the phone holster pulls off the mount, and 2) the power cord is coiled which causes it to pull on the plug. After just a couple of weeks it has put quite a bit of strain on the plug itself causing it to bend. It worries me it will break off one day.

Seidio did a great job with the rugged holster for the EVO with extended battery, and this Car kit does a great job of holding the phone if you have the extended battery, but they fell short by not offering a car kit that holds the phone while it is in the rugged holster! Taking the phone out of the rugged holster to place it in the car kit is not a wining solution. Please make a car kit that allows the phone to stay in the rugged casing!
